The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineering and Arnold are
proud to announce the relaunch of Building Services Engineering Research &
Technology in March 2001. CIBSE is one of the best known institutes of
building services engineering in the world and together with Arnold, they
have actively worked to improve and update one of their most popular
journals and ensure that the redesigned format is easier to both use and
store.  Communicating the latest research and providing an invaluable guide
to the latest developments in the field, Building Services Engineering
Research & Technology ensures all researchers and professionals are kept
up-to-date with recent advances in air conditioning, natural ventilation,
electrical services, acoustics, fire protection and public health.

Aims and Scope
BSER&T is an international journal of building services engineering research
and technology.  Publishing original and lucid material, BSER&T succeeds in
promoting research in the following fields: acoustics, air conditioning,
combined heat and power, communications, electrical services, energy use and
the environment in buildings, fire protection, heating, information
technology, elevators, management and related professional activities,
private and standby generation, public health and ventilation. Contributions
in the following forms are welcomed:
· Research papers describing original theoretical or practical work
· Reviews on particular aspects of building services engineering
· Case studies of new installations giving design concepts
· Review case studies of an innovative installation in service giving
operating results/user reaction


Why submit?
Contributions are invited for the relaunch of Building Services Engineering
Research & Technology. All Arnold journal authors benefit from fast

refereeing, 25 free offprints and a copy of the journal. Papers of merit are
