It is obvious that thorough reviews are essential in maintaining
the high quality standards of the IBPSA conferences.
Information of the next conference is at www.bs2003.tue.nl

If you feel that you have the knowledge, time and energy to
help with this important task, the organizers of IBPSA's 8th
Int. Conf. Building Simulation 2003 in Eindhoven, would like
you to consider becoming a member of the scientific committee
as a reviewer.

The scientific executive committee has the end responsibility
for the review procedure - including assignment of reviewers
and the final decision regarding acceptance of abstracts and
papers.

We anticipate that the average load per reviewer will be
roughly 5 abstracts / 3 papers.

If you are interested, please make sure that we have your
correct coordinates by pre-registering at www.bs2003.tue.nl

Then send an email to mailto:fried.augenbroe at arch.gatech.edu
with "Reviewer Building Simulation 2003" in the Subject
heading and in the body of the message an indication of your
area(s) of expertise in terms of the conference themes:

1 - Building physics including heat, air and moisture flow,
heating and cooling loads, electric and day lighting,
    acoustics, smoke transport, etc.

2 - Heating, ventilation and air-conditoning systems.

3 - Energy supply systems such as, renewable energy systems,
thermal storage systems, district heating and cooling,
    combined heating and power systems.

4 - Human factors including health, productivity, thermal
comfort, visual comfort, acoustical comfort, indoor air
    quality.

5 - Building services such as lighting systems, sound/vibration
control systems, fire/smoke and emergency control systems,
cold/hot water supply systems, sewerage systems.

6 - Advances and recent developments in modelling and simulation
technology including CAD interaction, product modelling,
software interoperability, user interface issues, validation
    and calibration
    techniques.

Thank you,

Jan Hensen
