[bldg-sim] Energy-10: Daylight factors don't reflect facade orientation?

Caroline,

Energy-10 daylighting calculation results should definitely be different
for different orientations within a given building for a given exterior
daylight availability condition. I am not sure what "DF%" values you
are referring to in your message below. I just did a simple test of
creating a default square building with identical aperture glazing types
and sizes on all orientations. When I scan through the resulting *.FC
file containing the illuminance values (in footcandles) for each
lighting zone, for each simulation timestep, I see different illuminance
levels in each of the lighting zones for each timestep. Since the
exterior horizontal illuminance is fixed for a given timestep, and since
the illuminance levels are calculated by multiplying that exterior
horizontal illuminance by the Daylight Factor(s) for each lighting zone,
it follows that the Daylight Factors are indeed different for different
orientations.
