[BLDG-SIM] Evaluation of the cooling load of an interior atrium

Dear all,

I would like to know how the cooling load of an atrium with a glass roof can
be simulated using typical software, such as DOE-2, TRNSYS or HTB2 etc., if
the atrium is of circular shape in the plan view and is located at the
interior of a builiding. There are corridors (air-conditioned spaces)
surrounding the atrium. Next to these corridors is the building's perimeter
zone with air-conditioned spaces.
There is no physical separation between the corridors and the atrium except
hand rails. Conditioned air can be transmitted freely from the corridors to
the atrium.

I would like to know what is the best way to compute the cooling loads of
the corridors and atrium. The corridors may need to keep at 25 degC during
the summer months. I am not sure what is the proper cooling temperature set
point for the atrium or whether I need to define these two types of area as
separate zones.

I would be grateful to anyone's help if he/she can provide some clues or
information (e.g. papers, working examples etc.) to tackle this situation.

Best Regards,
