Peter,

I never tried this before, but after your other email explanation, it's
worth a try.

Unforturnately, VisualDOE only let's you specify one HVAC system per zone,
so you can't call the AHU VAV and add an 2 or 4 pipe induction terminal
unit, as your description sounds like it's an induction box. What might
work is to define the AHU system as powered induction system, which then
allows you to define the AHU, i.e. variable speed. Since you only have a
cooling coil, you might need to add a schedule to lock out any heating the
system might try to provide. I also noticed that if you define the system
as ceiling induction, you can define the AHU as VAV. Again, you may need to
lock out heating from the induction box.

The heating can be handled with the Zone Air tab. Click baseboards to
represent the radiators and put in the inputs requested.

This is an oddball. Let me know how you make out.

Any suggestions on how to model a chilled beam system for supplemental
cooling to a FPVAV system with perimeter radiator heat. This is an historic
building with old single pane windows.

Thanks,
