[bldg-sim] kitchen exhaust heat recovery

If anyone has used the GFX heat exchangers, have they experienced additional
clogs in the drain?

My concern would be is that if you remove too much heat from the draining
material, the grease component would tend to solidify and over time could
end up clogging the drain after where the heat exchanger device is
installed. One of the benefits of draining hot water is that it keeps the
grease in a fluid state.

This could be an over reaction, but has made me reluctant to offer this as
an efficiency option in restaurants.

Greatly appreciate any thoughts on my response.

  Dear Experts of bldg-sim,

I am planning to use the GFX heat exchanger in one of my project. Does
anyone can share experiences of using the device?

  Regards
