FYI:

90.1 does not say that the setback/setup is a requirement, it says that
the thermostat should be capable of setting for 55degF for heating and
90degF for cooling (90.10 1999 6.2.3.2.2). 90.1 1989 also says that the
thermostat should be capable of 55degF and 85degF (9.4.3.2.1).

Subject: [bldg-sim] Setback temperatures for energy recovery units

Can anyone advice me on what appropriate setback temperatures are for a
building with an energy recovery unit? Does it make sens to use the
Standard ASHRAE setback temps of 55F heating & 90F cooling? Or should I
be using something closer to the building setpoint temperatures?

Thanks
