[bldg-sim] Occupied and unoccupied hours weather data

FYI.

You can calculate the DOY with the spreadsheet using an @MOD(@DATE(month,day,year),7) function. This yields a repetitive 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,0,1...for each hour. 0 and 1 are Sat and Sun, 1-6 are M-F. This is a modulo function base 7 that operates on the linear date that the DATE function generates. For all spreadsheets day 1 = Jan 1, 1900. You can then do a double sort on the DOY and hour to get your weather by weekday and by working hour.

Gaurav,

you can separate weekends and workdays with the excel method you used
already very simply:
just indroduce a new column in which you give the the workdays the number 1
and the weekdays the number 2. Then you can use the filter function to sort
out the days you need. Once you have created this column for one data file
you can copy it to the other files.

Greetings,

Caroline
