[bldg-sim] Occupied and unoccupied hours weather data

Actually, this is quite easy to do in XL if you use the pivot tables
function. You can select any hours of the day you want.

Is there a way to extract occupied hours data (08:00 hrs-18:00 hrs) and
unoccupied data (19:00hrs-07:00hrs.) from a TMY2 or energy plus weather
file. Is it too time consuming to do it in excel?
 
I know of Binmaker pro, but that costs around $150.00. 
 
 
 
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
