[BLDG-SIM] over hangs...more info

My building is located in South Carolina. I have compared the simulation
before and after the overhangs have been added.

 

With the overhangs: Electrically: Space Cooling, Heat Rejection, Space
Heating (this makes sense), and Pumps increase while the Vent. Fan
energy consumption decreases.

 

Gas Consumption increases for Space Heating.

 

Even when I am looking at this on a cooling basis alone, adding the
overhangs increases my electric consumption during the hotter, summer
months.

 

 

I am baffled.
