Scott,
You could either use the DOE2 glass library with different glass types (there's an XL file somwhere that lists the glazing numbers by SHGC, U value & VT) by , or import data from LBNL's Window 5.2

Personally I prefer to use Window 5.2 because it allows me to model the exact glazing from the manufacturer database in Window 5.2.

Subject: [BLDG-SIM] Changing window types in detailed edit mode in eQuest

I modeled my entire building and did extra tweaks in the detailed edit mode. I've just been informed that the contractor installed different glass than what was specified, so they are going to keep it.

How do I change glass type from say ¼"double pane with air gap to ¼" double pane with argon gap and not allow it to erase all of my detailed edit work? I know I have this option at the beginning in the wizard.

When I look at glass types and right click for properties, on the left side of the screen, it is not descriptive at all. I just see some numbers for the various properties.

Thanks again for your help.
