eQuest results for photovoltaics seem to be pretty good and includes a
little bit of demand savings as well. There are two ways to do the
calculations - one is relatively straight forward if you have panel and
inverter specifications and the other is a Sandia calculation method which
looks more complicated.

RetScreen has a really easy to use PV program. I think eQUEST is pretty good
too. Energy 10 v1.8 is supposed to have one, though I must admi I have not
used it yet.

what programs are available for that research purpose? is espr suitable or
