[BLDG-SIM] Number of Defaults Overridden Question

Hello Everyone,
 
I have what should be a simple question relating to the ASHRAE "Energy
Cost Budget Compliance Report".  This form asks that the "Number of
Defaults Overridden" be provided for both the proposed and budget
buildings.  Does anybody know what exactly is being sought here.  It
seems many more than 1 or 2 defaults need to be overridden to accurately
model a building?
