We've done several solar absorption cooling analyses in the past couple of years using the TRNSYS program. The program is ideally suited for this type of analysis. Give me a call or drop me an e-mail if you'd like to discuss the details of the project or learn more about the software that we used. Customized versions of the TRNSYS software (nice front-end program that shows the user the parameters of interest and allows them to run simulations, parametric tables etc. for one type of system) can also be created for the application by capable users and freely distributed to project participants. These deliverable packages can often be created at less cost than a full TRNSYS license and yet still let the user fully investigate the impacts of thermal storage, controls, sizes of equipment, efficiency changes etc.

Good luck with your analysis.

Jeff
