[BLDG-SIM] Ground source loop Vs Open tower

Dear all,

I am modeling a mixed use building (offices + hotel) with a ground source
loop using water from an aquifer for precooling prior to using chillers (no
open tower). We donot know the aquifer depth below the ground yet but the
theoretical premise for modeling is 350' and the pump used on the ground
source loop would be capable of 1500 gpm with 450' head.

Can anybody, in principle, comment on the energy offset by (not using open
tower + reduction of load on chillers) Vs the pump energy for sourcing water
from an aquifer?

Thanks,
