[bldg-sim] Building Information Modeling

Dear all,

What is the current situation on the Industry foundation classes (IFCs) of
International Alliance For Interoperability (IAI) with regards to building
energy and daylight simulation?
Also with regards to AutoCAD and Revit: with the CAD shifting to Revit, is
there interoperability between Revit and the simulation tools we use
everyday?

Any information is appreciated,
