[BLDG-SIM] eQuest Building Creation Inquiry

I recently completed a study on the effects of thermal bridging on a
residential project and approached this by looking at the average UA
value (heating) which accounts for this stud area component to the
overall wall. Uavg = U1A1 + U2A2+U3A3+... See ASHRAE 2005
Fundamentals–CH25. Depending on the level of analysis you are looking
at—UA calcs v potential moisture issues, a computer model may be
necessary.
 
Any further input on this is appreciated...
