[BLDG-SIM] TMY2 weather data for design purpose simulation

Dear Xiaobing:

Be aware that Typical Meteorological Years (TMY) data is based on
weather data typical for a 30 year period (1961-1990 NSRDB).

HVAC equipment is sized based on meeting design conditions (ASHRAE 55)
within a percentile at extreme weather conditions.

Subject: [BLDG-SIM] TMY2 weather data for design purpose simulation

Dear all:

I'm looking for information regarding the uncertainty of using TMY2
weather data in the simulation for sizing HVAC equipment. Does anyone
know anything about this? Thanks,

Xiaobing
