its easy, just do it and when you get to a wall, there are lots of
people to help out. for Equest-depending on how much you know or want
to assume about 1 hour.

Subject: [BLDG-SIM] General Q's

Hello,

I have been sub-ing out modeling work for some time now and have enough
base knowledge to take a crack a doing my own.

Besides the DOE manual and specific software manuals are there any
handbooks etc... that give a good information concerning energy modeling

Any "rules of thumb" for estimating time required for developing models
in eQuest? I recognize there is a learning curve, I am asking more for
someone who know what they are doing. What are you looking at, time
wise, for example for a 3 storey, 30 000 sq. ft office with straight
forward RTU's and curtain wall?

One week, two week, 3 days?

 Cheers,

Steve
