[Bldg-sim] Daikin Equipment

There has been significant discussion about this topic if you search the
archives. There is no way to model these systems in DOE2. People have
tricked the system (removing fan power, adding pumping power, etc.), but
the only program that is able to model VRV systems right now is Energy
Pro.

Does anyone have experience modeling Daikin or equivalent equipment?
Specifically regarding the 23 stage modulation of refrigerant flow,
scroll compressor (or equivalent) in simultaneous heating/cooling mode
of compressors, etc. I would appreciate opinions (positives/negatives)
of the equipment and an eQuest BDL System description if possible.
