They are the same concept, one applied to direct-fired gas heating in an air-handler, the other for boilers in a central heating system.

What is the difference between the FURNACE HIR input under the air-side-systems>heating>unitary power tab and the EQUIPMENT HIR input under water-side-systems>boiler ?
