Well - actually the existing building is also going for certification
and is in the final processes. This is really its own separate building
- except for the fact that it sits directly above the other building.

Is just the addition going for LEED certification?  Also, make sure no
hvac systems are connected with the existing building.  Then probably
system3.

I'm modeling a 30,000 sf addition to an existing building that's 3
floors above an existing 2 floor building. It has its own chiller and
natural gas boiler. In Table G3.1.1A should I select System3 assuming 3
floors, or should I select system 5 assuming 5 floors?
