[Bldg-sim] EnergyPro: AFUE to Furnace-HIR

Hi,
 
I model a PSZ DX unit with gas furnace in EnergyPro. The furnace is Carrier 48PGL-24---5/ 6 in EP metal building example. The heat capacity of the furnace is less than 225000 BUTH. The AFUE of furnace is 0.82. I exported the DOE-2 input file and found the Furnace-HIR was 1.747. Does anyone know how EP converts AFUE to HIR? Any suggestions on this question are highly appreciated.
