According to the presenters of that method they stated that USGBC had
accepted the spreadsheet method on a previous job.  There is nothing
really absurd about the calculation.  It is per Appendix G's methodology
for Exceptional Calculation Methods when a program cannot model a
particular energy saving strategy.

think
USGBC would accept simulation results by eQuest carried out the way Mr.
Oylear has suggested or the way Mr. Schrader mentions in his posts? Or
would
they only accept results if VRF modelling is done by EnergyPro?
