Are these numbers from the BEPS report? If you check the SS-D report,
you will probably find that the cooling is higher than heating. The
cooling in BEPS report will be 1/3-1/4th of the actual cooling load
depending on the COP of your cooling device.

Subject: [Bldg-sim] Hotel buildings

Dear All,
I wanted a quick opinion from some of you who have worked with hotel
buildings.
Do these generally require similar heating and cooling energy?

I was surprised to find this happening for Houston, TX, following 90.1
schedules and other protocol. I tried it with a more temprate climate
but with similar results. The WWAR on the building is at 16%.

Thanks,

Kapil.
