[Bldg-sim] LEED BD&C - EA c1

For the purpose of LEED credit EA c1 Optimize energy performance, is it possible to account for on-site renewable energy using option 1 (whole building energy simulation).  It seems that you can using 1 of two options: modeling directly onto building modeling software or using exceptional calculation method, but I am not clear on the actual procedure.  Which one of the modeling software is capable of modeling PV renewable energy systems?
