I would concur on your additional bullets to include VT by color (or
color filter information) and 2-sides of visible reflectances and solar
reflectance would be a good idea based on daylighting studies I've done
in the past, particularly when site reflective sources are being
accounted for.  I've yet to attempt including such things in my models
but I expect I will be coming across a model warranting that
investigation sooner or later.

Hi all,

 

My company is looking at making available some BIM models as well as
compiling data on our windows to help energy modelers analyze our
windows and glass into buildings.

 

The ones that seem most obvious to me are:

*	COG U-factor
*	Full Frame U-factor
*	COG SHGC/SC (do people prefer one or are both useful?)
*	Full Frame SHGC
*	VT
*	Thickness

 

I feel like some software requires more detailed inputs, so I've come up
with the additional categories:

*	Visible Transmittance by color 
*	Visible Reflectance Front and Back
*	Solar Transmittance
*	Solar  Reflectance Front and Back
*	UV transmittance

 

Please feel free to add and comment on this list. Our purpose of
providing this data is to make consultants' lives easier so let me know
if you think of anything that would be helpful. Thanks for your input!
