Hi Ross,

There is certainly no problem with running a 21 zone natural ventilation model in EnergyPlus. We've successfully run much larger models. You may find that it helps to increase both the Absolute and Relative airflow convergence tolerance values in the AirflowNetwork:SimulationControl data by a factor of 10. If that doesn't do it, try increasing again.

This can help where there are very large openings such as horizontal openings between spaces.

Hi All,

I have an issue running a natural ventilation model with 21 zones and approximately 50 openings at once. I got it to run with 8 zones, but it crashes with 21 zones an says that it has an error with there being too many iterations. Am I doing something wrong or it this too much information for energyplus to run in one simulation?
