Paul
You might try COMFEN, an early design tool for facades and daylighting that
runs EnergyPlus and provides access to WINDOW, Radiance and a variety of
glazing and shading data bases. You can do multiple comparative simulations
simultaneously to compare heating/cooling/daylighting tradeoffs. An updated
version will be out by end of August but you can download V3 at
http://windows.lbl.gov/software/comfen/comfen.html
There is a Users Manual and Video Tutorial along with the software download.
