[Bldg-sim] Interpretation in AHU for baseline and proposed model in LEED.

Hi all !

I have a tricky question concerning Modeling in LEED that I'm quite sure
is a common problem concerning the interpretation of LEED baseline
systems definitions. In the paragraph 6.5.6.1 of ASHRAE 90.1-2007. The
requirements of use a heat recovering in the baseline system are stated.
Normally we should not overpass 2 400 l/s in flow rate and 70% of
outside air intake. If we have both statements in our systems the
baseline system must not include heat recover. (and since baseline is
the building that we are comparing our proposed systems the gap between
baseline and proposed are wider).

In the building which I'm modeled I have the AHU divided by north system
and south system (both AHU's serve offices in all floors). One of the
AHU meets the requirements to avoid air recovering in the baseline
system, the other doesn't.

Since AHU's of baseline systems are supposed to be modeled by floor I
should take heat recover or not?

For me what I should do is to "merge" both air requirements of both
proposed Air handle units and make a ratio by floor, so I can see which
floor of my proposed systems meet the requirements and which not... is
this correct?

Thanks of any advice on this.
