City or San Francisco office. The Energy Analyst is a member of an
interdisciplinary environmental design consulting group and is active in the
company’s Energy Analysis practice.

The successful candidate will work closely with Atelier Ten’s Energy
Analysis practice leader and project managers to provide energy analysis on
building and planning projects; collaborate closely with architects and
design team members to make project energy improvement recommendations;
assist colleagues with energy analysis-related work; develop and maintain
analysis methods and standards; and train staff in aspects of energy
analysis. The candidate will also work closely with Atelier Ten’s integrated

environmental design consulting, daylight and façade analysis, lighting
design and LEED program management.

to modeling to ASHRAE Standard 90.1 in various design stages. Preference
will be given to candidates who are experienced commercial building energy
modelers, who are experienced with other energy or environmental performance
analysis tools, and who hold credentials in this field (BEMP, BEAP, CEM,
PE).

Subject: [Bldg-sim] IBPSA-USA Chicago Chapter Event, Tuesday December 2nd

On behalf of the Chicago Chapter of IBPSA-USA (“CHIBPSA”), I’d like to
invite anyone in the Chicago area to join us for a networking event tomorrow
night.

Date: Tuesday, December 2nd

Time: 5:30-7:30pm

Location: One North Chicago Restaurant, 1 N. Wacker Drive
(across the street from the Lyric Opera building, and two blocks east of the
Ogilvie Transportation Center)

This is an open meeting to socialize and network, and there is no cover
charge. Attendees are responsible for their own food and drink bill.

In addition to spreading some holiday cheer, we’ll be chatting about our
plans for the ASHRAE Conference in Chicago in January, about the Chicago
Chapter in 2015, and more. This will serve as our combined
November/December meeting and will be our final 2014 event.

If you haven’t attended a CHIBPSA meeting before, this would be a great
starting point for you. Hope to see plenty of people there!

PLEASE NOTE—this is a live event only.
