my name is Ralf-Roman Schmidt, I am responsible for district heating and cooling at AIT, the largest non-university research institute in Austria (www.ait.ac.at<http://www.ait.ac.at>).

Job position:
Scientist (w/m) for the system analyses and component integration for thermal networks (DHC)

Tasks:

-                     Strategical and methodical development of the research field District Heating and Cooling (DHC)

-                     Management and execution of research projects in the area of DHC

-                     Development of scientific methods for the analysis and optimization of district heating and cooling systems

-                     Development of concepts for the integration of storages and RHC-technologies in thermal networks

-                     Definition and acquisition of research projects in the area of DHC

-                     Writing publications

Qualification:

-                     Technical or scientific University degree

-                     Experience in the area of thermal networks (district heating and cooling)

-                     Ideally, PhD degree in the area of thermal energy systems (not mandatory)

-                     Experience in the handling of research projects with industrial partners

-                     Practical experience in research and development

-                     Fluent in English (oral and writing), good command of German welcome
