The TSD for K12 school gives detailed gas and electric loads for both the baseline (Tables 3-18 through 3-22) and low energy case (3-35 through 2-38). Shows show primary and secondary schools. http://www.nrel.gov/docs/fy13osti/51437.pdf David --David Goldwasser, LEED APNational Renewable Energy Laboratorydavid.goldwasser at nrel.govdirect phone - 303-275-3785cell phone - 720-335-54701617 Cole Blvd.Golden CO 80401-3305 From: bldg-sim-bounces at lists.onebuilding.org [mailto:bldg-sim-bounces at lists.onebuilding.org] On Behalf Of Dónal O'Connor

Subject: [Bldg-sim] High School Cafeteria Kitchen Energy Usage Hi all,

I'm looking for some guidance on estimating cafeteria kitchen energy usage for a high school. Are there any ballpark energy use per square foot values that I could use as the kitchen has not been designed yet? The school is located in a remote area of Canada and it will be powered by a fuel oil boiler. We need to get a sense of the overall energy consumption to start the preliminary sizing of the fuel storage tanks and generators.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
