[EnergyPlus_Support] Equipment end use

Can anyone suggest a way to define end use for 'electric
equipment' in EnergyPlus in much the same way as lighting
can be classified as 'general' or 'task'.

I need to be able to break down electric energy use
according to a number of categories to allow me to analyse
the way energy is used within some models of real occupied
buildings.

Any ideas gratefully received.
