[EnergyPlus_Support] MTF documentation & Moisture Balance in a wall

Is it available any further documentation about the MFT algorithm and
related input-output variables?

I have been studying the moisture balance in a wall, through the variables:
"Outside Surface Mass Flux[kg/s/m2]" and "Inside Surface Mass
Flux[kg/s/m2]". I thought that the integrated difference of this variables
over a long period should be zero but I get a very large number (after a
long period all the moisture that gets in should get out) . As I increase
the integration period, the moisture balance in the wall seems to increase
(it is behaving like a moisture source or sink in the wall).

Can anybody tell me what is it wrong?

Thanks in advance,
