Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Can simulate the energy consumption of VRVsystem



I am not familiar with the "VRV system".  Based on a quick look at Daikin's web 
site, it appears to be a direct expansion (DX) air-to-air heat pump with a heat 
recovery (reclaim) option.  Is that correct?  Do these units have one 
compressor for each indoor coil?  

EnergyPlus can model DX air-to-air heat pumps and heat recovery units.  You 
would need to determine the performance specifications for the particular unit 
you wish to model.
