[EnergyPlus_Support] Linux?

No, I am not announcing the demise of the Linux version -- in fact, the
Linux and Windows version releases of V1.2 will be approximately simultaneous.

What I would like to hear feedback on is Linux "versions" or
"distributions". Currently, we are using Redhat 8 as the Linux porting
platform. I don't even know if our distribution will then run on other
Linux distributions.

Also, Redhat seems to have a confusing "upgrade" thing going on right now
and I'm not sure I want to stick with it. (Of course, I'm equally not sure
I want to install another but am willing to think about it).

What Linux versions are people using out there? Particularly, I am
interested in people who are "dual developers" -- i.e. have both Windows
and Linux platforms.

Answer privately direct to me: mailto:linda@xxxxxxxxxx or to the list.

Thanks.

Linda
