Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] output the Cooling:Electricity for each DX coil

Check the Chesapeake_DXVAV_SA55.rdd output file, you will find reference
to the following outputs for DX coil.
These parameters (and all the others shown in this file) are the outputs
available for the specific input deck you are using.

HVAC,Sum,DX Coil Total Cooling Energy[J]
HVAC,Average,DX Coil Sensible Cooling Rate[W]
HVAC,Sum,DX Coil Sensible Cooling Energy[J]
HVAC,Average,DX Coil Latent Cooling Rate[W]
HVAC,Sum,DX Coil Latent Cooling Energy[J]
HVAC,Average,DX Cooling Coil Electric Power[W]
Zone,Meter,Electricity:HVAC [J]
Zone,Meter,Cooling:Electricity [J]
HVAC,Sum,DX Cooling Coil Electric Consumption[J]
HVAC,Average,DX Cooling Coil Runtime Fraction

In your Chesapeake_DXVAV_SA55.idf file you already have the report meter
below:

Report Meter,
    Cooling:Electricity, !- Meter_Name
    hourly; !- Reporting_Frequency

This is the electricity for all DX coils combined. You cannot separate
the electricity for each DX coil using this meter.

To get power and energy consumption for each DX unit, add this to your
Chesapeake_DXVAV_SA55.idf file (these are the ones that you need):

  Report Variable,
    *, !- Key_Value, *
means all DX coils in your input deck
DX Cooling Coil Electric Power, !- Variable_Name
    hourly; !- Reporting_Frequency

  Report Variable,
    *, !-
Key_Value, * means all DX coils in your input deck
DX Cooling Coil Electric Consumption, !- Variable_Name
    hourly; !-
Reporting_Frequency

The output file Chesapeake_DXVAV_SA55.csv should then contain the power
and electric consumption for each DX coil in your input deck.
