Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Meteonorm climate data

Export the file from Meteonorm in TMY2 format--it fills all the missing
datafields.
But! be careful with Meteonorm--it is based on statistics and may not
cover
the range of normal weather conditions seen in measured data or typical
weather year files.

Dear all,

I would like to run some simulations in EnergyPlus and compare those with
the outcomes of a simplified method based on Meteonorm-data. I am thinking
of taking the Meteonorm-dataset and converting this into an epw-file
through the weather converter/CSV route; however, that would probably not
fill all the datafields in the epw-format. Any suggestions on how to fill
in the blanks? Would I be far off by taking an epw-file for the same
location and inserting data from that file for missing fields in the
converted Meteonorm-file? The whole exercise aims to check the simplified
method, which does not take into account these other fields.

Best regards,
Pieter de Wilde
