RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Changing Properties

Peter,

Sorry, the material properties can't be made temperature dependent. If you know the property variation that you expect, you could bracket things (and check sensitivity on this) by inputting high and low versions of the properties and doing separate EnergyPlus runs. However for window assemblies, performance is somewhat temperature dependent; this is because EnergyPlus uses the Window5 algorithms rather than constant window performance factors.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Changing Properties

I am working on a model of a test cell where we are allowing the temperature to
float. Is there a way in Energy Plus to model materials where the
thermophysical and heat transfer properties (i.e. like thermal conductivity)
change with respect to temperature?
