Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Warnings

1. The user has the option of specifying values for the flow rates for zones
and systems. The user also has the option of specifying sizing factors. The
"User" flow rates include the impact of these inputs. The "Calculated" flow
rates are the computed flow rates ignoring these user inputs. The "User"
values are used in the simulation.

2. Referring the the uploaded file from 23 May (VAVEnvlopBuild_fivZone.idf):
a) In the SIZING PARAMETERS object, the "Time Steps in Averaging Window" field
is set to one which means that sizing is based on the load of a single time
step, which is 15 minutes in this idf.
b) The zones are all peaking at setback recovery time when the thermostat
setting changes.
c) To solve this, use a constant thermostat setting for the summer and winter
design day day types, OR make the averaging window longer, OR both.

3. What version are you running? When if run VAVEnvlopBuild_fivZone.idf with
version 1.2.2.030, it does not show the same coil capacities for these zones.
