Sorry, I meant IDF files. I cannot use IDF Editor to work with EnergyPlus

We do not intend that the EPW files be modified or viewed using the IDF
Editor.

The WeatherConverter is used to produce reports on EPW files or to
modify them, you can use the WeatherConverter to convert them to a
"csv" format which then can be opened in a spreadsheet program (such
as Excel).  You can modify them in the spreadsheet, if that is your
desire, and then re-save them to a EPW file using the WeatherConverter
again.
