Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] weather file




Total sky cover is the amount of sky covered by
clouds in 10ths.

Opaque sky cover is the amount of sky covered by
opaque clouds in 10ths.

Yes they are similar but you can have sky cover

Hi,

I am working with the weather file and running into a puzzle there.

What may be the difference between "opaque sky cover" and "total
sky cover" ? They look much like twins.

The doc does not explain this.
