Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Re: humidity control



1.  The zone supply air flow rates are calculated by ZONE SIZING based on 
sensible load requirements, so the SYSTEM SIZING object will not alter the air 
flow rates.  Also, note that the "type of load to size on" field in the SYSTEM 
SIZING object only accepts "sensible" (see Input Output Reference).  I see that 
the IDD file does not mention this, so I will add a note.

2. In the file you submitted last week, in CONTROLLER:OUTSIDE AIR, ECONOMIZER 
is active.  If that is active in your current idf, then that would explain the 
increase in outside air flow.

3. Check the setpoint controls on the main heating coil.  It should attempt to 
heat the air to the desired setpoint, assuming that the entering hot water 
temperature is adequate.
