Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Warnings

Dear Mike,
I verified the hvac configuration and controls in my idf file to find out if there are any mistakes. I also made some changes in my idf file, but nothing could erase the "sim airloops maximum iteration "warnings(about 100). I have uploded my idf file in problem_submittals in a folder. The name of the folder is "kiran".

Can you please verify the mistake in my idf file which leads to so many warnings?
  thanks,
  kiran

In some cases these warnings can be ignored, but only if you are sure that the
boundary conditions on the opposite sides of interzone surfaces are conserving
energy. If you are uncertain about that, it is best to eliminate these
warnings. If the top and bottom floors of the building are being conditioned
to the same thermostat setpoints as the multiplied middle floors, then I would
recommend making the floor and ceiling of the middle floor zones adiabatic
rather than interzone.

Max iteration warnings indicate a problem with the HVAC system configuration or
controls. A small number of these can be acceptable, but 100s of them are not.
