[EnergyPlus_Support] Heat generated by and environment for computers

In tropical countries, with my experience in Singapore, many offices
and laboratories with PC's (when introduced about 20 years ago) were
air conditioned (cooled). Whether this is to remove the heat generated
by the PC's (so that there will be less maintenance problems) or for
human comfort is vague.

Nowadays, laptops are meant to be used outdoors. So if the modern PCs
do not need environment that are airconditioned (cooled), then
buildings can be more sustainable by using only natural ventilation.

Can i know whether the data that EnergyPlus (or its predecessors) uses
for the heat generated by PC's has changed since 2001?

Many thanks, ooi
