Coupling ground loss modeling into the full simulation is on the "wish list" 
but as far as I know, it is not planned for this year or next.  I will ask the 
EnergyPlus team for suggested approaches to model this using current EnergyPlus 
capabilities.

If you want to find out in general what approaches/tools are available, I would 
suggest posting an inquiry on bldg-sim, the general building simulation list.
