[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Window AC or Unitary (Roof, ceiling Construction)

Hi everone,

i am having difficulty to enter this roof CONSTRUCTION into the idf.

The roof is made of sheet metal, supported by wooden trusses, and is
sloping. i see in some documentation with the vertices of the
sloping roof but how do i enter this into the idf?

Below the sloping roof is an air space and below the air space is
the horizontal gypsum ceiling boards, 2ft x 4ft, suspended by
aluminum frames. For want of a better way to enter a sloping roof on
one side and a horizontal ceiling on the other, i have used ASHRAE's
air object.

There are CEILING and ROOF options in Surface Heat Transfer. i have
presumed that they are one construction. Is there an example file
with CEILING and sloping ROOF?

best regards,
ooi.
