RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Real Weather

We have created weather data for the US (1961-2005) in EPW format for a
few locations. The sources: for 1961-1990, it's essentially the same
sites as the TMY2s, the National Solar Radiation Data Base (NSRDB). For
1991-2005, it's those sites plus another 1100+ locations--the new NSRDB
that you can download from the NCDC (www.ncdc.noaa.gov). These 1400+
locations will be the source for the new TMY3s... not sure what the
schedule is for that, expecting 400-800 locations in that data set.

We also have the real-time weather data on the E+ site:
http://www.eere.energy.gov/buildings/energyplus/cfm/weatherdata/weather_
request.cfm
But it currently does not have solar data calculated--we're working on
that in the next month or so.

If it's one or two US locations, we can provide the historical data.
Contact me separately.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Real Weather

I would like to use E+ with real weather for real years on an on-going
basis. The weather data I have seen has been fabricated (i.e. TMY2).
Are there .epw files available with actual weather data?
