Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] warning about air flow rate of cooling coil



It is hard to say why without seeing the input file.  The detailed chilled 
water coil model has difficulty autosizing for very large airflow rates.  

My guess is that there is something wrong with the sizing inputs.  Check the 
eio output file.  Do the zone sizing results look reasonabe?  Do the component 
sizing results for the fan coil unit look reasonable?  

If those are good, the problem may be with some of the other coil details.

The easiest solution is to change the coils to be COIL:WATER:COOLING.  In v2.1, 
COMPACT HVAC:ZONE:FAN COIL will let you specify which coil type to use and 
generate the inputs automatically.
